Our journey began with a simple frustration: traditional candles from big chain stores were burning unevenly and causing irritation. Determined to find a safer, more natural alternative, we embarked on a quest for candles that would be both kind to our home and the environment.

Living in the heart of Southern Illinois—one of the largest soybean-producing regions in the United States—our quest led us to discover the beauty of all-natural soy candles. Surrounded by friends and family who are soybean farmers, we were inspired to explore the process of creating candles from the very soybeans grown in our community. This local connection, combined with our love for high-quality, eco-friendly products, sparked the creation of Light & Label Candle Co.
